TRUMAN HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. Truman is a darling Heinz-57 puppy who was born on Nov 18. His mom Lacey came to us a week before as a very pregnant stray from a shelter and, after a week in her foster home, gave birth to Truman and his 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Lacey is a small dog at only about 20 pounds and a very sweet and loving girl who took great care of her pups. Her breed mix is anyone’s guess but she may have some Beagle and Terrier in the mix. Since we have no idea who dad is, it’s hard to predict how big Truman will be once full-grown. He’s one of the biggest in the litter weighing 7.7 pounds on 1-18-18 when he was about 9 weeks old and looks like he might have a little Lab in his family tree. Truman is currently enjoying life in a foster home along with 5 of his brothers and 2 sisters. He has been living with a large dog and some kitties too so is used to being around both. Truman loves being held and is so relaxed that he can fall asleep just about anywhere. His foster mom reports that he’s a smart cookie and one of the first to get the hang of potty training. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations for his age including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped.
